Many of you have the season of Autumn in full force. The leaves have turned color and they are falling on the cooler days and nights. For those of us who like the cooler weather to chill the fire of illness, we are provided a season to get outside and breathe in the crisp nourishment of Autumn. Can we see the abundance in the magnificent colors, the cool winds, and the plentiful foods? Don’t let the change of season slip by just because of chronic illness.

Nutty Black Holes in Chronic Illness

Oh my golly gee wiz… the nutty black holes that we get sucked into during chronic illness is awful. It is BLACK. It is scary and there never seems to be a way out. Black holes in space, supposedly, don’t have a way out. But we do. Nothing easy about it but we can do this. Really, we can escape out of the black holes of chronic illness.

Sunflowers are my favorite flower because they are so cheerful. They have also got to be the easiest flower to grow. Grow the right variety and you can eat your own sunflower seeds. Whether you grow sunflowers yourself or head to the store for a bag, they have nutritional value that you don’t want to miss. If you eat what is alive, you become alive.
