Are You Funny During Your Chronic Illness?

are you funny during chronic illness

Usually, the two don’t mix. Funny and illness, what a joke. The sicker I got, the less funny I became. Truth be known, I was way too serious, shhhhhh. Life is Like a Bowl of Cherries

Life is like a bowl of cherries

Cherries are in season and fresh cherries are on my brain. I think I have eaten so many that I have gone fruitloopy. Awe Takes Me To We

Moving our vision to the awe of life nourishes us. Easier said than done during illness. When we are chronically ill, we simply have to focus on ME to be able to move through the issues. Then, at some point, we have a sense that it is time to look up, outside of that intense focus. It is time to look at the awe in life. The more we see it, the more we move from ME to WE. We have more compassion for others because our vision has increased through awe. Tricky stuff when we are ill.

Don’t Paint Me As A Victim, I Am Above That, So Are You

Don’t paint me as a victim, I am so much more than that, so are you. Victims we are but… Victim defines us only when we let it. Cycle of Suffering Because We Think Life Is Supposed To Be Fair
