Day of Celebration for Life and Wellness

This is my 2nd anniversary since that awful day when I had 100% heart blockage and a ton of other things that all went terribly wrong at the same time. Better believe I am celebrating life and wellness. Even in a pandemic, I can have a party!! This is my LIFE DAY and I’m gonna celebrate no matter what.

Flying Above the Impossibilities, for the Bumblebee and the Chronically Ill

If a bumblebee can fly, so can the chronically ill.

Supposedly the bumblebee’s body size, shape, and weight make it impossible to fly. Being ignorant of those aeronautical facts, the bumblebee flies anyway. There is bumblebee wisdom in tuning out the rumble of the impossibility of flight. Let’s apply that wisdom to the chronically ill. The fortitude of flying above the circumstances, that appear impossible, allows us to focus on the possibilities. Let’s fly, no matter what…

Usually, the two don’t mix. Funny and illness, what a joke. The sicker I got, the less funny I became. Truth be known, I was way too serious, shhhhhh. Any little funny I had got rubbed raw, sandpapered down to the bone while I was chronically ill. That’s a shame. Funny can help us put illness in its place.
