When we are chronically ill, we simply have to focus on ME to be able to move through the issues. Then, at some point, we have a sense that it is time to look up, outside of that intense focus. It is time to look at the awe in life. The more we see it, the more we move from ME to WE. We have more compassion for others because our vision has increased through awe. Tricky stuff when we are ill.
