Seed rotation (or “cycling”) for balancing hormones has been around for a while. It is super gentle on the body as well as simple, easy, cost effective and natural. Food as medicine! I believe in using food to help balance our body which increases our health.

Awe Takes Me To We

Moving our vision to the awe of life nourishes us. Easier said than done during illness. When we are chronically ill, we simply have to focus on ME to be able to move through the issues. Then, at some point, we have a sense that it is time to look up, outside of that intense focus. It is time to look at the awe in life. The more we see it, the more we move from ME to WE. We have more compassion for others because our vision has increased through awe. Tricky stuff when we are ill.

Need A Moment Of Bliss

Do you ever need to call a time-out, making things still just for a moment to calm the stress? I needed to de-stress ME, so I picked the thought of blowing dandelions to create my moment of bliss. It totally turned around 2 very stress-filled weeks.

Was I Ever Crazy…

Was I ever crazy, maybe. Or maybe life is. Crazy isn’t being broken, or swallowing a dark secret. It is you or me, amplified. If you have ever told a lie and enjoyed it. If you ever wished you could be a child, forever. They were not perfect, but they were my friends.” People are just precious people, without all the labels.

Pity Party Plan

Have you ever tried to suppress a pity party? Sometimes we can do that successfully, other times it stays with us and usually comes back to kick us in the butt later. Natural Blush – Hibiscus Tea Bag

Hibiscus flowers have such a strong pigment that you can use the tea bags as a blush for your cheeks to make them look sun-kissed. This is a perfect idea for the months (and years) of chronic illness when we wear so little make-up but want to look like we are still amongst the living.

Could Pearl Powder Save Your Skin?

I’ve always been fascinated by the ocean. It’s not documented in Lonely Planet, or easily accessible from an Uber.
It’s truly off the beaten path, mysterious and unexplored. In fact, did you know we’ve only explored about 5% of the ocean? It’s pretty crazy to think that most of the ocean has yet to be seen or touched… But I’m not just in love with the sheer blue vastness and uncertainty of the sea. I’m in love with the magic it creates. Take the pearl, for instance…

Rewording Life To Make It Work – Cycology

Words are tricky. They can cut us to the core… OR we can be tricky with words to make them work for us. I saw this recently and fell in love with the work trickery. F.A.I.L. and N.O. and E.N.D. have all new meanings during chronic illness…
