If you are not getting these vitamins into your diet you will not heal, simple as that. Not only do we need to consume these in large portions but we need to make sure our bodies are absorbing these specific vitamins so we can utilize them. These are the most cost effective vitamins you will ever find, anywhere.
Shake up your vitamins,
Make it fun and nourishing to the soul!!
Add some of the most vital nutrients known to mankind. Vitamins E, F, G, H and L are right up there with water and air for life-giving nourishment.
I know, while we are chronically ill, there is not a whole lot of fun or joy. It is a miserable experience. Been there done that, beyond miserable. But we have the choice to learn how to enjoy the smallest of things so that we can endure the experience.
As we learn to enjoy the little things, we find ourselves with a smile on our faces and a lighter heart. This calms our nerves, soothes our parasympathetic system and helps us heal faster.
Parasympathetic System, the rest and digest system. The part of the nervous system that slows the heart, dilates blood vessels, decreases pupil size, increases digestive juices, and relaxes muscles in the gastrointestinal tract.
About the Parasympathetic Nervous System
“The sympathetic and parasympathetic nervous systems usually do opposite things in the body. The sympathetic nervous system prepares your body for physical and mental activity. It makes your heart beat faster and stronger, opens your airways so you can breathe more easily, and inhibits digestion.
The parasympathetic nervous system is responsible for bodily functions when we are at rest: it stimulates digestion, activates various metabolic processes and helps us to relax. But the sympathetic and parasympathetic nervous systems do not always work in opposite directions; they sometimes complement each other too.” ~ PubMed Health, Parasympathetic Nervous System
Activating our parasympathetic system lowers cortisol so our bodies do not feel the danger of the chronic illness as intensely. The more we can enjoy ANYTHING during the time of chronic illness, we have a greater chance of activating the parasympathetic system.
Find something to find enjoyable. I usually found myself laughing at how utterly ridiculous the situation was. Everything was harder than usual, so it complicated everything, making even the smallest task difficult. At some point I was able to find enjoyment out of laughing at myself.
Forgiveness is so much more than simply saying the word “sorry.”
When we forgive, we do not change the past, but we change the future.
To err is human, to forgive is divine.
When you can forgive yourself, your self-esteem rises. When you have greater self-esteem, you are able to make better decisions about what is best for your health. You believe that you have the ability to let go of past errors and move forward with wise choices.
Gratitude is the best attitude.
When we take in the nutrients of Vitamin G, gratitude, we have what it takes to help nourish ourselves and others.
Gratitude actually grows. As we practice seeing what we can be grateful for and then move into true gratitude, our eyes and hearts open to see the abundance of things to be grateful for no matter what.
Finding gratitude in the moment of suffering, moves us through the suffering in a positive productive way. The gratitude for chronic illness and the suffering brings different lessons to each of us.
Without hope we cannot see ourselves healing from chronic illness. Hang on to hope.
Hope can bring an acceptance of where you are, no other place but exactly where you are with all of this. Healing comes in many forms. Coming into harmony with accepting that life does not last forever is a form of healing. We can hope for that beautiful acceptance when it is our time.
You can even hope that you will actually enjoy the process of healing from chronic illness. You have been given an opportunity to grow exponentially through this experience.
When we have faith in ourselves, in our bodies, in our ability to make decisions, we are able to see hope in a future.
When you believe you can heal, it opens the doors to hope.
Love is the greatest vitamin of all. Without love, we cannot absorb and utilize Vit F, G or H. Without love, our food does not have the same joy or nutrients. Our supplements do not penetrate the cells that need support.
Love is a verb, not a noun. It is action. Take action and love yourself and others.
Love yourself. More than anything, love yourself so that you can serve others.
As a nourishment health coach, I teach that you are worthy of being loved. I show you how to obtain a true love for yourself so that you can live up to your purpose in life and spread your abundance of love on to others.
Chronic illness is actually a perfect time to learn how to pour love on yourself, this is when you need it more than ever.
Which of these vitamins do you already posses? Which ones are you lacking and which ones are you ready to nourish yourself with?
