MMM this is an amazing DIY recipe. Mud Mineral Mask! Have you ever paid for a professional mud mask? This is even better. Well, except for the clean-up and I have even solved that for you.
It really can be this simple. Three ingredients. Three simple steps.
3 Ingredients
- Carboxy Powder – 1 scoop (scooper comes in the tub)
- Sodium Bicarbonate (baking soda)- 1 teaspoon
- CT-Minerals – 6-8 dropperfuls (start with 6 and see if mixture is thin enough to spread on face, if not, add 2 more dropperfuls)
This recipe is enough for your whole face and the front of your neck. Many people forget to take care of their necks as well as their faces.
The CT-Minerals “activates” this mixture, creating a short fizz in the mixture. If you do not have CT-Minerals, you can use pure water but it does not have the same effect as the minerals.
3 Steps
- Mix the 3 ingredients
- Slather on your face and neck and let dry
- Rinse off in sink or bathwater
Don’t be afraid to get your fingers messy. Use your fingers to slather it all over your face and neck. Go around your eyes, missing the tender skin surrounding the eyes. Before you wash your hands, rub the left-overs over the tops of your hands to make them soft and smooth too. Then wash your hands and let your face and neck dry thoroughly.
Fun Budget-Friendly Skin-Friendly Trick
Mix up your mask and slather it on your face and neck. While you are letting it dry, run a hot bath. When you get in your bath, rinse your face with the hot bath water. The ingredients will be diluted in your bath water and cover all of your skin.
You can use the extra baking soda for your bath!
Benefits to Amazing Mud Mineral Mask
- Soothes rashes and skin issues
- Detox skin
- Tighten skin
- Smooths skin
- Relaxing and fun – kind of like going to the spa without the drive or expense
Amazing Caution
If you spill the Carboxy powder do NOT add water to clean it up. Instead, clean it up while it is a dry powder. Otherwise, you end up with a bigger mess. The best thing to do is to scoop out the Carboxy powder, transferring it into your mixing bowl IN the sink. If you get the powder on a rug or carpet, vacuum it, do NOT rub it in and do NOT add water.
Keep wellness lifestyle habits simple so that you get them done and enjoy the benefits.
Grit & Grace to all of you,
