Was I Ever Crazy…

Was I ever crazy, maybe. Or maybe life is. Crazy isn’t being broken, or swallowing a dark secret. It is you or me, amplified. If you have ever told a lie and enjoyed it. If you ever wished you could be a child, forever. They were not perfect, but they were my friends.” People are just precious people, without all the labels.

This movie is way out there and yet right up my alley. I really REALLY do not like the labels that we put on people. It keeps them imprisoned instead of letting people find themselves so they can shine.

This movie is a wonderful example of the destruction of labels. Anyone who can see past a label can see hope.

Since this blog is about chronic illness and most who have been chronically ill have at one time or another been called crazy, I think this is relevant. It becomes even more relevant when we can move past what anyone else says about us and think for ourselves

Girl, Interrupted

Winona Ryder and Academy Award-winner Angelina Jolie are the certifiable stars of Claymoore Hospital’s South Bell ward in this wry adaptation of Susanna Kaysen’s best-selling memoir.

This movie will only be available for free as a Prime Member until May 31st. So, if you are a Prime Member on Amazon you might want to catch this for free.

It is NOT suitable for children.

The movie is a bit rough but if you will stick with it, tremendous insights can be had. Grab a cup of calming tea and hang on for the ride.
