Using Your Blue Mind To Swim Into Health

use your blue mind, swim into health

Okay, so it isn’t that easy but when we put our mind to things we truly want, we do move in that direction. Blue minds are those that use water to calm the mind and body, therefore moving you closer to health. This summer is almost over, here in America. Has your body touched a swimming pool this summer? Have you felt the weightlessness of the water and the greater ease of movement with the pool water? Grab a swim before the season is over.

Blue Mind

Think blue = calm and peaceful. Think red = on fire, inflamed, illness.

Those who are chronically ill can use more peaceful moments in their minds, to help their bodies calm and heal.

By using water, which is usually blue, we can help our minds and bodies calm down for a calmer healing experience.

Summer Swim

Not all of us have a pool in our back yards. Not all of us have a local public pool or a private membership for access to a pool. But if you do, have you taken your summer swim?

Have you sat on the edge of a pool and dangled your toes in the cool water during a hot summer day?

Have you been able to get in a pool and let the water hold your weight while you float and release the stress of illness?

Have you been able to jump in a pool this summer and scream a whaaahooo, just because you could?

Have you been able to actually swim across a pool for much needed exercise?

Stick your goggles on, toes in, and jump in. Feel the water and let it calm your mind which calms your body.

Take someone with you if you have any safety concerns. And remember that some pools are chlorinated that may aggravate your illness. But some use salt or other more natural solutions.

Chronic illness is highly stressful. Using your Blue Mind to experience what water can do for you will help you get farther down the healing path with more ease.

Before summer comes to a close, try to get at least your toes into a pool, a lake, an ocean, or even your bathtub. Enjoy!!!
