Brain Food – Cycology Nutrients

Cycology Nutrients comes from Brain Food. Not all nutrients pass our lips.

How are you using your life, your actions, your activities, and your mind to feed your brain? Your choices in Brain Food can be high in Cycology Nutrients.

Neuroplasticity = Neuro is brain and plasticity means bendable. We can bend our minds to create new healthy neuronal connections. Rewiring your brain is another way to say it. It is not a play on words, it literally can take place when we choose to retrain our brains.

A healthy brain helps to move us out of chronic illness.

Love

We live in an information age. We can challenge our brains moment by moment. Our value is sometimes measured by the amount of information we know. How is that working for us???

Replacing some of our time spent every day on information overload with spreading love is usually more nourishing. It feeds your heart which in turn feeds your brain. Spreading love triggers brain neurons that food and medicine cannot touch.

Do you love on yourself and others? Do you do spread love enough?

“Make love, not war.” Every thought is a curse or a blessing. Everything comes down to love.

Pleasure, Fun & Laughing

Are you receiving pleasure out of life? Are you having any fun? Usually, during chronic illness, we don’t have a whole lot of pleasure, much less fun.

Pleasure can appear fairly basic but try doing it in the depths of chronic illness??? Nothing easy about it.

As we adjust our thinking we can start to see pleasure.

When our bodies don’t work worth a darn, we can find so much pleasure in doing little things. Notice them, take pleasure in them. Then you can create “fun” out of the ridiculousness of illness. There are some dang funny moments.

When you get to the point where you can laugh at yourself, you have arrived!!

Listening to Your Body

This does not come naturally to most of us. We have to rewire our brains to slow down, to feel the subtle nuances, to deeply listen to the needs of our bodies.

When we can listen to our bodies, we can move out of illness with more ease.

Truth Through The Illness Chaos

Yikes, this is a hard one too. There is SO much out there about health and wellness that it feels like chaos most of the time. When we feed our brains the truth that works for us, we light up. Our brains litterally make new neural connections.

Really, think about it. When it feels like chaos, we shrink, feel small and stupid, heavy and unable to move forward. When we hear the truth, we sit up straighter, we feel taller and smarter, we are lighter and able to take the next step on our healing journey.

We see hope when we sit in truth.

Will-To-Live During Chronic Illness

For many, examining the will to live is the most nutrient dense food to feed our brains. Chronic illness is a bear, it is not for the light-hearted. We can easily get lost in the darkness of it.

As we examine our level of will-to-live, we come to terms with exactly where we are. It is then that we can rewire our brains using cycology nutrients of brain food. This is the most serious one, so I am not trying to make light of it.

Feed your brain the give-up messages and that is where your body tends to go. Feed your brain the messages of hope and that is where your body will take you.

Be kind to yourself. These are HUGE steps to take during chronic illness. One baby step at a time.
